What is SquashRT?

SquashRT (SquashRT) is a squash training aid built to visualize the flow of a squash match and to practice the rhythm of movement and shot selection.

The most important squash training always happens on a real court. Real ball speed, wall rebounds, an opponent's movement, physical fatigue, and split-second decisions cannot be fully replaced off court. SquashRT is not meant to replace on-court training — it is a companion tool to help you understand the game better and practice more effectively on court.

Squash is not a sport you can master simply by moving fast or hitting hard. What matters is understanding the repeating rhythm of reading the ball, moving to the right position, choosing a shot, and recovering back to the T. SquashRT was built to help you understand this match rhythm off court and carry it into real on-court training.

Visualise

Visualization tools that make rallies easier to explain

SquashRT provides two visualization tools for explaining and analyzing squash rallies.

Court View

Court View

Court View visualizes player positions and shot paths on a 3D squash court. You can draw a shot's travel path, add the explanations you need, and replay rallies saved from Training or Match. You can also export the visualized scene as an image or video for coaching, explanation, or record-keeping.

Tactics Board

Tactics Board

Tactics Board lets you design shots and positions on a flat, top-down squash court. Build rally paths against the walls and floor, move player positions, replay saved sequences, or use it as tactical explanation material.

Court View and Tactics Board share the same rally data. You can view a single rally two different ways — on a 3D court and on a flat court — making match situations easier to understand and explain.

Experience

Training and a Match Simulator to experience match rhythm firsthand

SquashRT is more than a visualization tool — it also offers Training and match-simulation features that let you experience the rhythm real matches require.

Training

Training is structured so you can practice step by step — from basic shot concepts to receive timing, court movement, T recovery, shot accuracy, and reaction speed. Following level-by-level scenarios, you learn the basic flow of squash and gradually experience a rhythm closer to a real match.

This kind of practice delivers greater benefit when paired with repeated practice on a real court. You can first understand the flow in SquashRT, repeat it physically on court, and then review it again with the visualization tools.

Match Simulator

Match Simulator lets you experience the flow of a squash match with an AI or an online player. You hit shots in the direction you want, move to the receive position in rhythm, and manage your stamina through efficient movement and T recovery.

Saved match data can be reviewed again in Court View and Tactics Board. This helps you look back on your match flow and more easily understand where your movement was late and which shot choices were effective.

Why SquashRT was made

SquashRT was created to make squash easier to learn, explain, and record. It aims to be a tool that lets coaches explain rallies and tactics visually, and gives players a way to learn match rhythm even off the court.

Of course, the most important part of improving at squash is hitting the ball, moving, and repeating on a real court. SquashRT is a companion tool that helps you understand that process better, prepare more clearly, and review more easily after training.

From people learning squash for the first time to players who want to improve their match flow, SquashRT's purpose is to help anyone understand squash movement and shot selection more clearly.

Who made it

SquashRT was built on the personal experience of a developer who has long enjoyed squash, together with experience in the IT business field. It was developed with the help of Han Business & Company Corp., with the goal of creating a tool that makes squash easier and more fun to learn and explain.
