For Coaches
Coaching with SquashRT
SquashRT gives coaches a fast way to explain rallies, tactics, and movement — draw a point on the court, annotate it, and turn it into an image or video you can use in lessons, on YouTube, or in your own app. It is a companion to on-court coaching, not a replacement: explain the idea clearly off court, then drill it on court.
A simple coaching workflow
From an idea in your head to a shareable clip in four steps.
1. Draw the rally
Lay out the point on the court. Use Court View for a 3D view of shot paths and movement, or Tactics Board for a flat top-down plan. Tap the walls and floor to build the rally, and move players to show positioning.
2. Annotate the idea
Add the explanation on top of the rally — shot paths, target zones, movement arrows, and notes — so the tactical point is obvious at a glance.
3. Export to image or video
Turn the visualized rally into an image or a video clip. Replay a sequence you saved from Training or Match, then export it as a clean, watchable file.
4. Share with your players
Use the clip in a lesson, send it to a player, post it on YouTube, or embed it in your own coaching materials. The same rally can be shown in 3D (Court View) and flat (Tactics Board) since both share the rally data.
Why coaches use it
- Explain faster: a drawn-and-annotated rally is clearer than words, especially for movement and shot choice.
- Reuse your work: save rallies once, replay and re-export them whenever you teach the same idea.
- Two views, one rally: switch between a 3D court and a flat board to suit the point you are making.
- Off-court ready: prepare clips at home, then take the idea to the court for real reps.
