Front-Court Battle

Drop, counter-drop, re-drop — the touch war inside the short line, plus escape shots when the exchange breaks down.

Drills
6 Drills · 29 Shots
Straight Drop (R)
Feed Shots 5 Public

Mid-court feed; step in and float a straight drop into the front-right corner. Soft grip, short follow-through — just enough open face to clear the tin.

Straight Drop (L)
Feed Shots 5 Public

Mid-court feed; step in and float a straight drop into the front-left corner. Soft grip, short follow-through — just enough open face to clear the tin.

Counter-Drop (R)
Rally Shots 5 Public

Coach drops; answer with a counter-drop, again and again — the ball lives in the front-right until the final straight-drive escape. Stay low through contact; play it with your legs as much as your hands.

Counter-Drop (L)
Rally Shots 5 Public

Coach drops on the left; answer with a counter-drop, again and again — pure touch until the final straight-drive escape. Stay low through contact; play it with your legs as much as your hands.

Back-Wall Boast Escape
Feed Shots 4 Public

The feed dies in the middle of the back wall — escape with a back-wall boast that floats to the front. Open the face fully and lift high; height is the whole shot.

Drop–Lob Combo
Rally Shots 5 Public

Counter-drop while you can attack; when the boast stretches you, lob out — then the straight-drive escape. Choosing between touch and height under pressure is the drill.
